General Radiology Improvement Database

The General Radiology Improvement Database (GRID) collects information about imaging facilities which is then aggregated to establish benchmarks for quality improvement. It allows facilities and physicians to compare turnaround times, patient wait times, incident rates and many other process and outcome measures with other facilities and practices of similar size and type.

The GRID offers participants additional QCDR measures to fulfill reporting requirements for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). Participation also allows credit for Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part IV requirements of the American Board of Radiology (ABR).

Harnessing the Value of GRID Participation

Hear from GRID Committee chair, Phuong-Anh Duong, MD, about how participating in the GRID can help your practice ensure high-quality radiologic care for your patients and about his personal experience as a clinician engaged in the registry.
