In this episode, Frank J. Lexa, MD, MBA, F新澳门六合彩官网, academic neuroradiologist, author and Professor and Vice Chair for Faculty Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh, shares his cross-coast and international leadership journey with host Geoffrey Rubin, MD, MBA, F新澳门六合彩官网. After completing his undergraduate education at Harvard College, medical school at Stanford University, and residency at both the University of California San Francisco and University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Lexa went on to earn an MBA from The Wharton School of Business.
Having always been interested in the intersection between healthcare and business, he has been able to leverage his clinical and business acumen in a variety of academic, research and teaching roles including as a visiting professor at the Université de Bordeaux in France, Professor of Business Development in the Life Sciences at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, member of the adjunct faculty of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he taught students in the Global Consulting Practicum as well as working as a strategic consultant for the Boston Consulting Group in their healthcare practice and founding a boutique health care strategy group called LSG Ventures.
Dr. Lexa has put his experience and skills to work for a number major organizations in US radiology including Chief Medical Officer for the Radiology Leadership Institute, Chair of the 新澳门六合彩官网 International Economics Committee and a member of the 新澳门六合彩官网 International Commission. In the past, he also served for six years as a founding co-chair of the Future Trends Committee for the 新澳门六合彩官网.
