The 2025 Medical Student Scholarship


The College is proud to offer a maximum of ten scholarships to medical students enrolled in U.S. or Canadian approved programs in order to support attendance at the 新澳门六合彩官网 annual meeting, May 3-7, 2025.

Goal of scholarship:


  • Encourage medical student involvement with the 新澳门六合彩官网
  • Improve diversity and inclusion within 新澳门六合彩官网 and radiology
  • Enhance the recognition and value of 新澳门六合彩官网 membership amongst medical students and trainees
  • Increase understanding of the impact of 新澳门六合彩官网 research in expanding the purview of medical imaging, interventional radiology, and radiation oncology practice for the benefit of patients
  • Highlight the importance of radiology as a critical component of patient care

Recipient requirements:


  • Awardees must register for 新澳门六合彩官网 2025 and attend pre-determined activities (to include the RFS meetings, MSS sessions and Council meetings; attendance for a minimum of 3 days is required). 
  • Awardees will participate in the meeting mentor program, complete pre- and post-conference surveys and provide a post-meeting write-up on their experience; content from the post-meeting write-ups may be used in 新澳门六合彩官网 publications and marketing materials.

How to apply:


The Scholarship is open to medical students in a U.S. or Canadian approved program and who have an interest in becoming a diagnostic radiologist, interventional radiologist, radiation oncologist or nuclear medicine physician.

Application requirements include:

  • 新澳门六合彩官网 Membership (medical students join free)
  • Students must be in their first, second, or third year of medical school, or in a research year, and not yet matched into a residency program.
  • Resume/curriculum vitae
  • Students may only receive the scholarship once.

The 2025 application period is now closed. Applications for 2026 will open on Sept. 1, 2025..
