The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) released June 15, outlining its recommendations to the secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) regarding several Medicare payment topics. MedPAC is an independent congressional agency created to advise Congress on issues affecting the Medicare program.

This includes MedPAC’s recommendations on approaches to streamline and harmonize Medicare’s portfolio of alternative payment models (APMs).
