Mentorship also provides benefits to the organization by building relationships, creating a culture of belonging and ensuring a pipeline of succession. Finally, mentoring promotes giving of oneself to a higher cause and allows the mentor to find a higher purpose. Mentoring is ultimately a win-win-win for the mentee, our departments and organizations and ultimately for the mentor.

People make two common mistakes when thinking about personal finance and leadership; they are both inaccessibly complex, and studying them can be pushed off until later. I disagree with both. Personal finance and leadership skills are based on basic tools that are easy to learn. We are going to explore these fundamental skills and build them into a framework for improved decision-making, which we can then use to approach both common and novel challenges.
