The Harvey L. Neiman Health Policy Institute® announced that its are now accepting applications. Grants will fund research on current policy priorities in radiology that provide evidence to inform health policy and radiology practice that promotes the effective and efficient use of healthcare resources, with the goal of improving patient care. Fellowships in Clinical Effectiveness and Health Policy Research provide a unique opportunity for fellows and junior faculty in radiology or radiation oncology to gain experience in clinical effectiveness and health policy research.
Grant research topics include:
- Artificial intelligence and emerging technology.
- Emerging payment and population health models.
- Practice advancements to improve equity, efficiency or outcomes.
Fellowship research topics include:
- Cost-effectiveness.
- Patient outcomes.
- Population health.
- Personalized medicine.
- Appropriateness of care.
- Incidental findings.
The deadline for fellowship applications is Nov. 30 and Dec. 20 for grant applications.
