The Oklahoma State Radiological Society (OSRS) has been awarded a grant from the 新澳门六合彩官网 Association® (新澳门六合彩官网A®) Scope of Practice (SOP) fund. OSRS will use its grant money to advocate against non-physician scope of practice expansion in the state.
The SOP fund was established in 2021 by the 新澳门六合彩官网A to safeguard patients and patient access to radiologist expertise by fighting state and federal non-physician SOP expansion legislation. Non-physician provider groups continually seek expanded authority by introducing legislation that would, for example, reduce radiologist oversight and enable direct billing.
